Kensington Baby was so excited to be invited by the Hot Moms Club to be
involved in the Baby Shower of The Biggest Loser host and Days of Our Lives
star
Alison Sweeney. We were thrilled to send in five of our baby girl hats
for Alison. Alison is due in January. The shower was covered by Celebrity
Baby Blog, Access Hollywood and Life and Style Magazine.
Kensington Baby was thrilled to find out that we had been
selected by Jayneoni, Stylist to the stars and host of the Golden Globes
Gifting Suite, the Boom Boom Room to be included in her Hollywood Baby
Breakfast Club. This invite only gift basket went out to 23 of the top moms
and dads in Hollywood! We included hats for Halle Berry, Ali Landry, Melissa
Joan Hart, Matthew McConaughey, Christina Aguilera, Tori Spelling, Heidi

Newborns need to wear hats constantly to
keep in their body heat. And since this
is my second child, she is wearing lots
of hand-me downs, especially from when
her brother was a baby. Which means lots
of blue, green and yellow hats.

adorable
Initial hat (with a cute
Swarovski crystal "A") on it. I like it
because its adorable, personalized with
her initial and obviously NOT one of her
older brother's newborn hats.
Kensington Baby
makes hats for both genders (and they're
all handmade). Each cotton hat fits 0-18
months - just fold it down as your baby
grows. Each girl's hat retails for $20
and each boy's hat retails for $18. For
girls, choose from Swarovski crystal
hats - with your baby's
Initial or a
crown. Or go in another direction
and go for the
ribbon and
flower baby girl hats. My favorites
were the
Coco- a chocolate brown hat with a
chocolate and pink polka dot ribbon and
a pale pink flower with Swarovski
crystals and the Avery - a hot pink hat
with a chocolate and pink striped ribbon
with a hot pink flower and Swarovski
crystals.

said via email, "When my daughter Ashley
was born I realized that I couldn't find
the ultimate accent to finish off all of
her adorable outfits. I decided to
create a hat which was both unique and
beautiful at the same time. After being
approached on numerous occasions by new
moms asking where to get the hats my
daughter was wearing, I decided to start
my own business in August of 2007".
We also checked out the boys hats. We
saw the
Fire Truck Hat - a sweet blue hat
with a applique` of a fire truck. Ben
loved it and wanted 'to wear it, but his
head was to big (he's over 2 years old).
We also loved the
Excavator Hat, the
Football Hat, and the
Baseball Hat.
These hats need to be hand-washed, but
since I am doing so much laundry at this
stage anyway, it was easy for me to wash
it quickly in the sink and lay it flat
to dry. I hope Kensington Baby
branches out to baby clothes next (I'd
love to see some of her designs on a
onesie or dress!).
